Position Summary
The Development Chemist II in the Metalworking Development Lab shall execute development assignments, determinations and tests under the supervision of the manager/group leader or in assistance to a senior level Chemist. The Chemist shall contribute to the development or improvement of products in support of the Metalworking strategic plan in metal removal and grinding product lines. Additional duties include supporting Quaker Houghton metalworking fluids in use at customer accounts with analysis and troubleshooting.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to carefully, and precisely manipulate samples, apparatus, and sensitive instruments. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk sit and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
